About

Located in Arizona's beautiful western desert in the historic town of Parker, you’ll find Parker Funeral Home. For more than 50 years, we have had the privilege of serving a rich and diverse community.

Compassionate care

Our professional and dedicated staff provides compassionate care during one of the most difficult times in life. We believe funeral services should reflect the lives of those being honored, and we strive to celebrate a life like no other for those who have meant so much to family and friends.

Honoring cultural traditions

Chapel at Parker Funeral HomeOur staff is able to serve families of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds. Our associates speak both English and Spanish and are available around the clock.

At Parker Funeral Home, we can conduct services for a diverse set of cultures, including those in the Native American or Hispanic traditions. You start by telling us your story, and we weave the perfect tribute to your loved one, allowing you the opportunity to truly celebrate a life well lived.

Cremation is important in certain religions and cultures, and more and more people are choosing cremation over more traditional burial options. But, most people aren’t familiar with all of their choices when it comes to cremation. You may choose a direct cremation without a funeral or memorial service of any kind, a funeral with the body present, followed by cremation or a cremation followed by a celebration of life service.

Commitment to you

Please know we are committed to honoring the legacy of you and your loves ones in a way that fits each unique life. In addition to burial, funeral and cremation services, Parker Funeral Home offers many other services for your convenience, such as arranging for the transport of a loved one anywhere in the world. Reach out if you need immediate assistance, or if you would like more information about our services.

History

Founded on family

Parker Funeral Home The McIntyre family purchased a former Mormon church in 1963 and started Parker Funeral Home to serve the needs of a growing rural community. The McIntyre family continued to operate Parker Funeral Home until the 1990s, when we became a part of the Dignity Memorial® network. Throughout the years, we have experienced many changes in an effort to meet the needs of a changing community.

Growing with the Parker community

The Parker, Arizona and surrounding area experienced a shift in local demographics, including an influx of retired persons and seasonal visitors from the growing popularity of the Colorado River. These factors created a growing demand for expanding funeral services.

Under the McIntyre family, a new building space was constructed and, under the present ownership, a crematory was added in 1995. In 2002, the interior was significantly renovated to reflect the rich culture of our resident Native American community.

As a member of the Dignity Memorial network, we are part of the largest North American network of funeral, cremation, and cemetery providers. Parker Funeral Home continues to enhance our location to meet the changing needs of the community in the years to come.
